Search your own documents, yourself or through your AI assistant
Enterfind indexes the files you already have, on local disks, network shares and S3-compatible storage. Search them yourself in Enterfind's web interface, or let Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants search them for you. It runs on your hardware. Your files stay where they are, and nothing is uploaded to a third party.
AI access over MCP
Assistants reach your documents through the same GraphQL API the web interface uses. They search, then open the original files. Connecting assistants
Try it now: add https://b6b5b23e3ac8.remote-beta.enterfind.com/mcp as a connector in claude.ai to search a read-only demo corpus, no key needed.
Remote access
Cloud assistants need a public address to reach your instance. Enterfind's hosted tunnel provides one over an outbound connection, with no port forwarding or firewall changes. Invite only for now: ask at info@enterfind.com. How it works
See it working: the demo is an ordinary instance reached through this tunnel, at the same kind of address yours would get.
Self-hosted
On a server or NAS: one Docker image for amd64 and arm64, plus PostgreSQL. On a Windows, macOS or Linux computer: the installer sets everything up, with no Docker and no admin rights. Installation · Installer
More than text
Choose what runs on each file: text extraction, OCR, object detection and face detection. Every result becomes something you can search on.
